City Missions

To Preach the Gospel to the Gentiles

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

About City Missions

The Bible tells us to go to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth to be God’s witnesses. However, due to our weakness God has instead sent those people to us. The purpose of the City Missions Department is to answer the call for us to spread the Gospel to those who have been sent to our community.

City Missions Department is divided into Muslim, Campus, Bhutan and Myanmar teams. Our main mission is to minister to the Muslims as well as those from Bhutan, Myanmar, and other minority groups. In other words, without having to travel to Arab countries, the Middle East, Bhutan or Myanmar, we can reach the peoples who would normally be unreachable to pass on God’s word and love. We are working diligently to lead them to heaven.

Since the launching of our ministry in 2019, we are planning to develop a friendship with these people by inviting them to our worship services, through the distribution of Christian literature and snack packs, dinner invitations and coffee house. We are praying that we can reach out to the younger generation by offering tutoring help with school work or through Saturday activities.
Our long term future plans include forming a Special Interest Group to learn to help us understand Islam and the Muslim people. In addition, we are also looking to learn the Arabic language, work together with Arabic churches, provide support to help with personal issues, invitation to a testimonial service and provide scholarships.

We hold dear the words from Proverbs 16:9 “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” as we strive to lead them to God and make them His disciples. For those interested in getting involved with the City Missions Department, please contact
